RIL has partnered with the Richmond Retrievers to provide an affordable, supportive and accessible ice hockey experience for individuals with disabilities who want to learn to play. The team practices at all the local ice rinks but is primarily based at Skate Nation in Short Pump. The team is comprised of skaters with multiple disabilities and we are a member of ASHA, American Special Hockey Association. All players receive one on one coaching from our volunteers and adaptive supports are available if needed.
